Get Building - It's easier than you think!
Having just returned from the
ORARC Field-Day at Port Macquarie, I would like to thank the organizers
for helping make the event a sucess again this year. Wayne- VK4WC and I
had a blast testing the OPEK HVT-400B HF antenna from the mobile on the
trip down and back. We were active on 80, 40 and 20m making contacts
into VE, VK1, VK2, VK3, VK4, VK5, VK7 and ZL.
The next events we will be attending are as follows:
Lockyer Valley Radio and Electronics Club 12th July 2009 at Lake
Dyer. Bring lunch or BBQ for Sunday July 12, starting at 10:30am

Wide Bay Mini Ham Fest - The Gympie and Maryborough AR Clubs are
organising this event to be held in the Gootchie QCWA Hall (North of
